Conclusion

During my high school days, football had played a crucial role in my life and is still a big part of it till this very day. I instantly fell in love with the game when I became part of the freshman team and was very eager to learn more about it. Despite my love for the game, I knew that my senior year would be the last time I was going to play on an actual team; in other words, my football career would end during my fourth year in high school simply because I just wasn't cut out to play at the collegiate level or even in the NFL. However, I do play every now and then with friends for fun in order to get my fix. My passion for the sport was the reason why I wanted to focus my blog on the game of football. I actually focused more on how the game has affected the health of players and how that has been a huge factor on the new methods of developing the equipment. As mentioned earlier somewhere in one of my blog posts, the game has gone through a lot of changes, primarily for the safety and health of the players as I had learned from my research for this blog. Even now, NFL and NCAA officials are continuing to make changes not only in equipment, but are also changing or adding some rules and regulations to ameliorate unwanted health issues. That pretty much sums up my blog in a nutshell.

My overall experience with this assignment, I would have to say that it was a good one, mainly because the topic I chose was something I took to heart. I especially enjoyed researching about the game in its early stages; it made me appreciate the game all the more learning about its humble beginnings.
